Job Description

Job Title:  HR Manager

Location: Remote/EST

Job Summary:

Reporting to the HR Director, the Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR administration, providing employee relations support, and acts as the direct leader for HR Administrator(s) and/or Generalists. The HR Manager oversees system administration for various HR tools, facilitates processing of internal exits, and assists state and federal labor law compliance. The HR Manager also handles escalated HR administration issues, acts as owner of the Employment Verification Process, and is actively manages creative HR support projects.

 

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Directly manages HR Administrator(s)/Generalists to include but not limited to, personnel oversight, performance management, training, and development.
  • Manages all verifications of employment, Happy Fox ticketing system, and escalated issues.
  • Oversees team recognition, HR discretionary spending, and event planning.
  • Provides direct employee relations support including file management, call documentation, and other applicable duties.
  • Oversees organizational projects, creates new administrative processes, and works with various departments to obtain required data for HR planning.
  • Works to develop a strong HR administration team which includes solutions minded professionals who assist with state and federal compliance, labor law mandates, workers' compensation, and other pertinent needs.
  • Responsible for handling consultant employee relations issues
  • Processes various reports on both internal employees and consultants for various initiatives.
  • Manages administration of internal terminations, to include but not limited to, ADP data entry, completion of Personnel Action Forms, termination ticketing, and coordination of equipment returns.
  • Acts as system administrator for PerformYard performance management system to ensure EG's employees experience a professional and streamlined performance review process.
